'MASTER'S FOOTSTEP.' A tribute to Cecil Aldin's favourite dogs. 'Cracker and Micky.'

Published straight after his death by The Illustrated London News 1935. Sepia print showing the title and provenance. All in excellent condition.

This famous pair of dogs were owned by Cecil Aldin. Micky the Wolfhound and Cracker the English Bull Terrier. Aldin wrote and illustrated various books about them and also used them as his models for one hour a day. The ensuing book was called 'Sleeping Partners.'
