'CRACKER' - CECIL ALDIN'S FAVOURITE BULL TERRIER (Aldin RBA., Cecil Charles Windsor)

AN ORIGINAL CHARCOAL SKETCH by CECIL ALDIN OF HIS FAVOURITE - 'CRACKER' the English Bull Terrier. 'THE BOY.' This dog is famous for appearing in the many sketches that Aldin took of Cracker and Micky (The Wolfhound) for the book 'SLEEPING PARTNERS' c1929.

The Illustrated London News published a tribute to Cracker & Micky the day that Cecil Aldin died in 1935. It was entitled 'MASTER'S FOOTSTEP.' (I HAVE ONE AVAILABLE)

When 'CRACKER' died in 1937. Several newspapers printed his photograph. The TIMES published an obituary of the dog, while The News Chronical described him as "probably the most famous animal model in the world."
