Peter Curling has been involved with horses and hunting for many years. He lives in the heart of Tipperary where the unique country is very challenging to horse and rider and the famous banks and ditches are very demanding. In this painting he has captured the winter landscape using a limited palette of earthy colours. A strong Irish hunter stretches to the maximum as he tackles a daunting obstacle.
