Large original signed bronze sculpture of this rearing “Suffolk Punch Stallion and Groom” was first exhibited at The Royal Academy in 1869.
An outstanding original Victorian bronze sculpture by Queen Victoria’s favourite sculptor. The detail is exceptional.
Height 59cm x Length base 50cm x Width base 37cm. Length of horse 59cm.
Weight with solid oak plinth (not shown) is approx 40kg.
Please note – the height is approximately 23″ – hence the image showing my hands. This is a large, substantial and very beautiful sculpture by one of the finest sculptors of that time.
